Why Buy a Kettlebell? There are many reasons you might want to buy a kettlebell. They burn a lot of fat with their strength training and cardiovascular combination. They’re affordable, don’t take up a lot of space, and you can get a lot of results with just a little bit of effort.

Kettlebells are very trendy, but they’re not the same as a flash in the pan fad. Kettlebells have actually been around for a very long time and have just maintained their reputation as a formidable piece of exercise equipment.

You can buy a kettlebell locally (if you can find them) or online. If you buy online, there are some places that will provide free shipping, which is a perk, considering they’re made of heavy cast iron materials in most cases.

There are kettlebells for women and those for men, but in reality, it just depends on how much you can lift and endure during your training routine. You can buy kettlebells in sets or individually, too.

For many workouts, you’ll only need a single kettlebell. But for some routines, you’ll be using two kettlebells – one in each hand. This is primarily for the more advanced kettlebell user, not beginners.

Some of the kettlebells that you buy come with more components than just the kettlebells themselves. Some of them come in kits – complete with a DVD, training manual, nutrition guide and workout chart.

You might want to stick with the traditional cast iron kettlebells, but many people are now choosing kettlebells that are made of alternate materials. For example, you might find some that are filled with sand and covered with vinyl so that they won’t put marks on your floor like a cast iron version would.

Just make sure that whatever material you invest in, the kettlebell itself resembles the original kettlebell shape, with a handle positioned for you to grip easily and a base that’s flat below the rounded part.

Some people prefer to buy a set of kettlebells in many different increments. Others like to buy an adjustable kettlebell. This is where you have one kettlebell, but you can adjust the weight of it in increments.

Kettlebells have an aesthetic appeal, too. Some women like to get a girly color, like pink. Some prefer to invest in a kettlebell that looks powerful and daunting, like one with a skull etched into the rounded part.

There are some kettlebell sets that have stands where you can stack the equipment vertically. However, unless you have a large set of kettlebells, you can store these easily almost anywhere out of sight.
